about me

Hello, my name is Clive Ba-Pe and I'm a Graduate Architect from Brisbane, Australia.

With a passion for all things design and making, I studied architecture at the University of Queensland while working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. After my Bachelor's degree, I worked for a year and a half at Noel Robinson Architects, where I worked on such notable projects as the  Pinnacle luxury apartments at Portside Wharf, and the Felicity hotel in Brisbane City.

I completed my Master's degree at the University of Queensland School of Architecture in 2014, while studying Japanese part-time. Eager to learn from practicing architects, I undertook studios from Luis Feduchi, Jo Case, Paul Hotston and Bud Brannigan. I was also able to travel to the Tohoku region of Japan to research post-tsunami temporary housing communities.

Towards the end of the degree, I began working for Project Habitation where I was able to focus on progressive sustainable house design ideas and undertake and manage my own projects, which led to an opportunity to work at James Davidson Architect.

I now am currently working at James Davidson Architect and Project Habitation.
